Hi, I’m Nico! I was born in Switzerland but raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Culturally, I’m not Swiss or American, I like to call myself a Californian. I found Photography at a young age and studied at The Art Center College of Design, Pasadena where I received my BFA in Photography.

I was the in-house photographer for IDEO from 2007-2022 where I photographed everything from product to portraiture. My favorite assignments are ones where I’m able to use my sensitivity and knowledge of lighting to explore uniquely photographic ways of seeing. When not behind the camera, I can be found on the trails of Marin County riding my bicycle and basking in the glory of nature.
